At Abundance, we're one of the youngest teams in India

Hi, we’re Venkatesh and Haritha.

If you’re here, you’re probably thinking about who to trust with your money — and we believe that starts with knowing the people behind it.

Here’s our story, and also the story of Abundance.

Abundance began in 2008, but its story started much earlier — with our father.

He was a mechanical engineer who went on to build his own manufacturing unit. The business was doing well, money was coming in — yet every month felt uncertain. He didn’t know where it was all going, and no matter how much he earned, there was always this feeling of being a step behind.

He tried seeking advice from people he trusted — CAs, friends, colleagues — but the answers never gave him the clarity he was looking for. So he decided to figure it out himself. He spent hours reading, learning, and experimenting, until he slowly began to make sense of his own finances.

That journey changed him. Once he experienced the calm that comes from understanding money — from knowing where it goes, how it grows, and what truly matters — he wanted others to feel that too. The best kind of work often begins when you build something you once needed yourself.

And that’s how Abundance was born. 2008

From a young age, we were part of his journey — listening to his ideas, watching him work, and learning what it meant to handle money with care. Over the years, those lessons shaped how we think, work, and live. So when it was time to carry Abundance forward, it didn’t feel like starting anew — it felt like continuing something we’d always been a part of.

He went on to write an Amazon bestseller, Awaken The Millionaire Within — a book that felt like an extension of our home. Every principle he shared in its pages were ones we had grown up hearing — during long drives, over family dinners, and in the quiet moments before bed. Lessons about money, but also about life — patience, consistency, and doing the right thing even when no one’s watching.

During our articleship, we realised that corporate life didn’t excite us. One day, while talking about what came next, Dad smiled and said, “Why don’t you come to the office and see if you like what we do?”

We came — and have never looked back since.

Naval Ravikant says, “Find something that feels like play to you but work for others.”

We found our play — helping people understand their money, building strategies that make their goals feel within reach, and witnessing the quiet confidence that comes when financial chaos turns into clarity.

Though we lost him in 2020, his presence continues to guide everything we do at Abundance. The values he built it on — simplicity, honesty, and integrity — are what keep us grounded.

We’ve learned that trust isn’t built through promises or jargon. It’s built when people know you’ll show up — consistently, transparently, and with their best interests at heart.

We’re Haritha and Venkatesh.

We continue what our father began — helping people feel at ease with their money, and confident in their decisions. Because understanding your money brings peace to everything else.
